Well my name is Scott I a geologist at a national environmental firm. i have quite a few hobbies first and foremost photography, with hunting reloading hiking and pretty much any thing out doors as smaller hobbies.
after some pushing from friends and other photographers I'm trying to make a go at nature photography. thats about it not to much to me. hope you like my work please leave comment no matter what you think.

Well the snow has stopped falling after 36 hours and nearly 4 feet of very dry powdery snow. The roads are passable again so you know what that means time to take some photos before the next lake effect storm blows in.

A New Start.

After a long pause in my photography, i have come back to my favorite hobby. I have purchased a new camera Nikon D7200 and paired it with a Tamron 16-300mm lens. i have made a software commitment and if things go well this winter i will be rebuilding my portfolio. wish me luck and as always constructive criticism is appreciated.
